Client libraries
The Plexivo client libraries for JavaScript, TypeScript, Flutter and Dart: a Plexivo Postgres backend from your web or mobile app.
The Plexivo client libraries connect your web or mobile app to Plexivo Postgres as a backend: queries, Auth, Realtime, GraphQL and Functions. Each package carries its full reference and examples on its registry page.
| Language | Package | Runs on |
|---|---|---|
| JavaScript and TypeScript | @plexivo/client on npm | Browsers, React Native, Vue, Node 20 and later |
| Flutter and Dart | plexivo_client on pub.dev | Flutter apps, and Dart 3.4 or later |
Two styles, one query builder#
Both libraries let you write queries the way you already do:
- Supabase style:
from('notes').select('id, body').eq('pinned', true). - ORM style:
where,preload,first,create,save, models, relations and transactions.
Keys#
Your app uses the database’s Project URL and Publishable key, from the Connect tab. The secret key bypasses row-level security; use it only on servers, never in an app.
Other languages#
Any HTTP client can call the Data API, and any GraphQL client can call the GraphQL endpoint. From a server, any PostgreSQL driver or ORM can use the connection string.
