Deploy your first app

Deploy a web app or API from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or a container image, and get a live HTTPS address.

Plexivo App Runner builds your code, runs it in Mumbai and gives it an HTTPS address. You see the monthly price before anything runs.

Before you begin#

  • A Plexivo account.
  • Your app in a GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket repository, or as a container image.

Deploy from the console#

  1. Start a new app. On Home, choose Deploy a new app. Or choose Create at the top of any page, then Plexivo App Runner.
  2. Choose the source. Under Source, pick GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket and choose Connect GitHub (or GitLab, or Bitbucket) to link your account once. Then pick the Repository and Branch. For a prebuilt image, pick Container image and enter the Image.
  3. Name it. The name becomes your free address, <name>….plexivo.app. Choose the Project it belongs to.
  4. Pick a size. Under Size, choose the Instance size and the Minimum instances and Maximum instances your plan allows.
  5. Check the region and the price. Your app runs in Mumbai, India. The panel on the right shows the Estimated monthly cost and what you pay for.
  6. Deploy. Choose Deploy; the button carries your app’s name. Plexivo builds the app, starts it and checks its health. When it is ready, choose View and your app’s name to open its page and copy its address.

From now on, every push to the branch you chose deploys a new version, and you can roll back to an earlier one.

Or ask Plexivo AI#

On Home, choose Let Plexivo AI run my stack, then tell it what to deploy, by voice or in writing. For example: “Deploy github.com/acme/shop with a Plexivo Postgres database.” Plexivo AI reads the repository, prepares a plan and shows its Estimated monthly cost. Nothing runs until you choose Approve & deploy.

What you pay#

An app’s monthly price covers its minimum instances and is charged from your wallet as it runs. Instances that autoscaling adds above the minimum are charged for the hours they run. During the 14-day free trial, a basic app is free. See Plans and billing.

For developers On the Developer plan, an app that has served no request for 15 minutes sleeps and wakes on the next request. On Startup and above, apps stay on.
