Wallet and currency

Plexivo is prepaid. You add money to your organisation’s wallet, and plan fees and resource charges are taken from it. You always know what you have left, and there is never a surprise bill.

One currency: US dollars#

Wallets, prices and charges are in US dollars for every customer.

Add money#

1. Open Billing. Go to Billing and choose Add money.
2. Choose an amount. Enter the Amount to add (US$) or pick one of the Quick amounts.
3. Check and pay. The Payment summary shows the Total to pay. A receipt is emailed to you.

The Billing overview shows your Wallet balance, what you have spent This month so far, and what you are Projected this month.

Paying from India#

Indian customers pay in rupees. The rupee amount is the US dollar amount at this month’s rate plus 18% GST:

• The month’s rate is the RBI reference rate on the 1st of the month, plus a 2% conversion margin. It stays the same all month.
• Before you pay, the Payment summary shows the Wallet credit at this month’s rate, the GST and the Total to pay. Tax is not added to your wallet.
• You receive a GST tax invoice in rupees for each top-up, with the rate used printed on it.

A business registered for GST can add its GSTIN in Settings → Organisation, under Tax & billing details, or under GST details for your invoice at checkout. It appears on every invoice, and the invoice carries your PAN-verified legal name when you have one.

When your wallet runs low#

Plexivo emails your organisation’s owners and admins when the balance is about to run out: first when about a week of charges is left, again when about two days are left.

If the wallet cannot pay, by default:

1. Paused. Your resources stop running and nothing more is charged. Your data is kept. Add money and everything comes back at once.
2. Released after 24 hours. The resources are removed from our servers; their settings and database backups are kept. Add money, choose Resume services and pick what to bring back: apps return as they were, databases are restored from their backups, caches start empty.
3. Deleted 14 days after the pause. Anything not brought back is deleted with its backups.

Your owners and admins are emailed at each step, and again 3 days and 1 day before anything is deleted.
