Projects
Projects group related apps, databases and caches inside an organisation, and keep their private network together.
A project groups the resources that belong together, such as the app, database and cache behind one product. Every resource belongs to exactly one project.
Why projects matter#
- Order. Find everything for one product in one place, under Projects.
- Private networking. A private database is reachable from the apps and Kubernetes workloads in the same project, the Plexivo console, the Plexivo Postgres Data API and a CLI tunnel. Apps in your other projects cannot reach it.
Create a project#
When you create your first resource, Plexivo creates a project called Default for you. To add another, choose Create project on the Projects page. Every create form has a Project field where you choose where the new resource goes. A project name is 2 to 120 characters and unique in its organisation.
How many projects#
Your plan sets how many projects an organisation can have. See Compare every limit on the pricing page.
Delete a project#
A project can be deleted once it is empty. Delete its resources, including Plexivo Kubernetes workloads, first.
